brentcc
hello, I have a feather duster in my tank and it has a green curly cord coming off the back end of it anybody know what this is? Quote Link to comment
j.falk
It's probably the plug in cord. If you plug it into your wall outlet, it makes them light up. 😀 Quote Link to comment

Tired
Yep, that's chaeto. A macroalgae, AKA seaweed. If you have a lot of it, it can strip out nutrients that your corals need, but a little bit of it is fine. Some people use it on purpose to control nutrients when they want to do fewer water changes, or when they feed a lot. Quote Link to comment
