1CAV
So the cube is running ! Theres base rock w a few pieces of life dead rock, then we added a couple pieces of live rock around it . The sand is Carib sea Fiji pink. I added a 100 w heater to chamber 1 , and currently waiting for the Intake medium stack to arrive . These pics were the morning after filling, and still was a bit cloudy. I've had the lights off after reading to keep them off during my cycle, to reduce the algae blooms . 1 Quote Link to comment
1CAV
Last night I spotted a hitch hiker..or multiple hanging around on the rock..sm star and the bristle worms . I removed the star but the worm ducked back in a hole...I added a 6 line wrasse to my shopping list Quote Link to comment

There's 2 snowflake clowns, a firefish and coral beauty angel. We added the angel and firefish last wknd. I started noticing bits of leftover food and diatoms so we bought a cleaner shrimp,, 3 trochus snails and a couple scarlet leg hermits . Last wknd while picking up the firefish wife spotted a intense red fire shrimp so it came home too. I've been testing water every 2days, and they look very good. Holding steady 0 am 0 nitrites and 5 nitrates . I ordered 2 frags of TSA firework clove polyps from budsman , and they started opening up tonite very happy ! This was taken right after arriving Quote Link to comment

RoyalGramma001
That's nice simple always looks nicer than a crowded tank in my opinion. Quote Link to comment
1CAV
Added a hammer , and trumpet coral today. We wanted something very bright , and these neon green really stands out! Our firework cloves were opened up today really showing off their colors , and the feathery palms were extended..very cool to see . My wife noticed this small shroom chilling in a container, so we bought it too, its stretching out in a small crevice in the rockwork. Our emerald crab was looking it over when I snapped pic Tomorrow's was gonna be water change day, but the lfs said they all like higher nitrates levels , so I'll leave it alone another week Quote Link to comment
