Pixel
Can't tell if it's a type of Spaghetti Worm or Spoon Worm. Noticed tiny tentacles protruding from my sand-bed this evening. Used a siphon to take it out to inspect further (curiosity always has me). It appears to be a single worm, but can easily split apart into multiple worms (or feelers?). Not sure now if it's a bunch of tiny worms that have a hive mind and regroup into one larger organism. Will try and post another close-up pic and a video. Quote Link to comment
Pixel
Here's a video showing the weird little critter. It seems the "body" consists of other tiny worms which makes me think it's not a spaghetti worm because it doesn't have mouth feelers. Hoping to determine this species before I have to call the Department of Energy and inquire on any local experiments going on. Quote Link to comment
TerraIncognita
That video.... was epic.... But it's 99% a Spaghetti Worm. 1 Quote Link to comment
Pixel
@TerraIncognita So Spaghetti worms can have little worms protruding from its "abdomen" area? Yeah it's a wild little thing! Glad you enjoyed the video haha Quote Link to comment
Tired
I think it's just a tangled-up spaghetti worm. Quote Link to comment
