Hitchhiker on snail shell - vermetid snails?

Hi all new to the forum. Just picked up some Ninja Star Snails at my LFS. I am seeing something that looks like clear tubes on the backs of them. I wanted to confirm they are Vermetid snails before I end up taking action on them. They don't seem "stringy" like I've seen in videos or other pictures but that could be due to them being young maybe? Thank you in advance.

Vermitid snails aren't "stringy" they are "stabby".  Ouch!!

 

My guess is some kind of worm or barnacle sort of critter.

 

Last pic almost looks like legs on a micro brittle star, but I still bet on something more wormy.
