neyes_ice
so this was supposed to be a frag tank but now i'm thinking a macroalgae tank inspired by @Tigahboy and @SaltyBuddha its sharing a 12G sump with the 16G display. my plan is to keep it simple, easy to keep macros, algae barn has a 3-5 pack. chaeto, pom-pom and ulva likely i will not be adding any caulerpa. ill keep the chaeto in the sump and light it during the night and run the macro display same time as the main display. will my lights be sufficient? i have a lumilite pro 50/50 any tips welcome. 3 Quote Link to comment
debbeach13
Just wanted to say good luck with your new tank. I have no experience with that light and can't even keep any macro alive but 8 hours ago, neyes_ice said: @Tigahboy and @SaltyBuddha are great tanks to follow. 1 Quote Link to comment
Tired
Sound good. I really like codium, if you can get some- it's shaped a bit like a stony coral, and has a nice dark color. Any plans on critters? Highly recommend some micro decorator crabs, they love to hang out on macros. A pygmy filefish or other macro-blending fish would probably also be great. Quote Link to comment
Tigahboy
Nice! Is that the UNS 60S? I'm starting another one myself. Quote Link to comment
