moutonrose
hello, I am new to the forum and been in the saltwater world for 8 years. I just recently upgraded my 15g to a 45g 3 weeks ago and noticed today on my 8 year old female clown that she had like a pale round patch near her tail. it almost look like there is no more scales. anyone have an idea what this could be? Tired
Do you have any corals or anemones with her? It looks a little like something stung her. 1 Quote Link to comment

I have 2 damsels a filefish and a diamond goby. the clown has a male companion 8 years old as well. she does like to dig with her tail a lot. I do also have hermits and a emerald crab Quote Link to comment
Humblefish
It looks like damage of some sort, or missing scales. How is she looking today? The nice thing about clownfish is they usually heal quickly. Quote Link to comment

I haven't seen it on clownfish before, but the presence of flatworms can cause a "discoloration" that looks something like that too. Quote Link to comment
