Coinee
Is this just a bristle worm? It's actually super long, well over 4 inches. When i poked it with my turkey baster, it shot back into its hole in the rock so quickly! 1 1 Quote Link to comment
Joevember
After some digging, I think i can ID it as an Oenone fulgida worm. From what I read they release a paralyzing toxin to snails, other inverts and maybe fish and eat them. I saw some on other forums that got 3ft long! So if you have been losing snails, he's the reason. They're apparently very hard to catch, but he has to go. Be ready with some tweezers when the lights go off and shine a light on the rockwork and pray you get lucky. 1 Quote Link to comment
Coinee
Yikes! That looks exactly like it and I found the small mucous web thing it excretes. It's in a small chunk of rock that I may just remove and nop it out of my aquarium. 1 Quote Link to comment
