Prazipro - really reef safe?

I have a yellow tang with tiny black spots. Looks like black ich but on the body and not fins. Was told prazipro would help, but everything in my tank is doing well and don't want to mess with it. Yes I know I should have quarantined, but I didn't.

1. Any actually use it in a reef themselves with no issues?

2. Do I need to remove the guy and dip him? Or will they fall off and the treatment will prevent from returning?

I have used it sometimes without issue in mixed tanks but every tank is different. It does make some corals mad for a few days. Especially Xenia and mushrooms.

You have to remove carbon and take the cup off the skimmer and turn off any UV.

The treatment will cause the parasite to spasm and fall off but it will not kill eggs so treatment needs to last 7 days.

Part of the parasites lifecycle is in the substrate so a dip will not be a cure and only temperarily relief.

I have a bare bottom, not sure if that helps. Do you think it will hurt the copepods? I have a mandarin.

Prazipro is unlikely to kill a significant number of amphipods/copepods.
