noahwood
Hi there, I have 2 frogspawn in my frag tank that no matter what don’t seem to want to open up. I have had one of them for a few weeks and has been open since last week and the new one hasn’t opened anywhere near what it was like at the lfs. My parameters are: salinity - 35ppt alk - 11.5 (using Red Sea pro) calcium - 450 mag - 1350 25*c phosphate - 0.03 My zoas, monti and Seriatopora look happy but I just can’t get the frogspawn happy. any help would be appreciated! Clown79
Could be acclimating, too much flow, too much light. These are the common issues 1 Quote Link to comment

These are the common issues Thanks for getting back to me! I have had them both with little flow and they didn’t seem happy either so I am trying to find an area that they like. Do you think I should lower the light intensity a bit more? I have an ai prime 16 with ab+ at around 30% 1 Quote Link to comment

How are nitrates? 1 Quote Link to comment

I have had them in low flow to test it and they didn’t seem to like that so I have just moved them to a higher flow area. i need to buy a new nitrate test kit as mine has run out, so I’ll know by tomorrow 1 Quote Link to comment
