RE CYCLING MY TANK

so i’m recycling my tank and well i don’t know where to start

 

first i rehome the fish coral snails and crabs

then should i do a water change

after that do i add the bacteria or ammonia chloride and how much do i add per gallon??

so many questions that i should have gotten answered the first time around

What exactly are you trying to accomplish?   It sounds like you already have a tank with enough livestock that you should colonies of the needed bacteria, and you want to tear it down and start over for some reason.  What is actually going on?

if you read all my other threads, so many people suggested i do this because the high nitrite/ate levels

I just read the thread.

 

With the parameters you have, your tank is in the cycling process

 

There is no need to restart it.

 

What should be done is the fish removed from the tank, allow it to process the ammonia and nitrite to 0, then do a good size waterchange.

 

Then add an appropriate fish to the tank.
