pippol1
I recently got the PhosBan 150 media reactor I want to use it with charcoal . I think I did something wrong because there were particles of carbon in the tank. can anyone tell the right way to use it with carbon? Quote Link to comment
jservedio
You need to rinse it first and make sure you are following the rector instructions and keep the flow through it low That begs a bigger question: why are you running a carbon reactor? You are agressively stripping all of the organics in your already immature tank and starving your corals. If you want to run carbon in a nano, put it in a media bag and toss it in one of your AIO chambers or on a HOB filter. 1 Quote Link to comment
gymby11
I put mine in a bag above the GFO. My carbon does not move at all. Quote Link to comment
