So where have you been bruh?? 🤔

Thanks for checking.  I’m around, here and there. Not much progress to report on this tank, or the other tank for that matter.  August was crazy madness with work (seems like everything that was delayed/slowed down due to pandemic just kinda rushed up to the finish line at the same time and they all wanted for something ‘now’) and family (doing a lot of wknd things outside).

welp, what's new here....

We went and submitted an offer on a new home. lo and behold it was accepted on the first try despite a pretty competitive market locally.  We either had a really good offer, or we offer too high for a place where no one else sees the potential, i don't even wanna know, lol.  more home reno projects, yay.  jk, I actually love reno projects and seeing the house transformed - nice to have a wife who has good tastes AND is an actual interior designer.

so this tank is officially on hold until we move into the new home.  (but can I even considered it ever started to begin with?)

may as well start a new thread whenever the moving settles down, lol...

Still in the same general area, moving to East Grand Rapids, MI.  My job is remote, but my wife still works at the same company, can’t just pick a new city and go, 😆.

I was cleaning up today and found this nice EchoTech Vectra M1 pump it is brand new in a box and if you want it I will send it to you for say shipping cost only. Let me know. I do not need it as I have two other pumps that I will be using on my new build.

thank you @Coolbreeze for the M1 pump.

Sorry, I’ve been neglecting this thread.

We’re finally moved in to the new home. And here’s the stand in its location, leveled and ready for the tank.

@xiaoxiy, I kinda moved the progress update to this thread.

speaking of, the goal for this wknd is to get the stand leveled and the tank and sump down to the basement, after having them out in the garage since the beginning of the winter.

I was wondering why that other thread had been silent for so long!

That waterbox looks fantastic! I'm so excited to see what you do with it.

Since things move rather slowly around this build, here are some sunlight shots from the dining room tank. These are shot with NO artificial lighting whatsoever, that includes no room lighting, just some Midwest sunshine reflecting of snow from our dining room windows.

Was just about to ask how things were going, love the natural daylight shots.

Thanks. A little change of perspective for sure!

so even tho the tank is not ready yet, the corals “collecting” continues.  Found this little hammer at the LFS this past wknd.
