Every time I open this thread, your centerpiece is significantly larger - it's unbelievable how fast that things is growing. Your tank is well past the "about to explode" phase and well into the explosion. It's looking incredible, even through the dirty glass, heaps of food, and windex blue!

Tomorrow is the big day omgomgomg

so big I had to bring back the old school “emoticons” (for those that been here long enough, these and other NR original ones are still available at the very end of the emoji lists, fyi)

come over an fix my tank pls?

So prior to taking delivery, I decided it was a good time to test my alk.

well, it was around 6. No wonder I felt like things were growing a little slow.

anyway, I’ve been playing catch-up since. And still only hits 6.5 so far after the wknd. Final target is around 7.5.

Not gonna lie, rainbow acros are cool, but there’s something about having a nice green stag in the tank.  It gives such a different structure and color like no other acros can.

I like the pink tips! The ones we get here are vivid green, but are usually from the wild. I'm unsure how long it'll last in a normal reeftank, or if it retains its vividness. Wild corals, for all its beauty, have a tendency to 'fade' away or just RTN/STN one day over here. Pretty, but not long-lasting/seldom lasts.

Yours looks really nice though.

this was at one point a frag from wild Tonga import at LFS.  this one started as a frag that I kept after breaking down the IM30 tank.  I'll try to dig thru my album to find what it looked like in that old tank - it never branched out this much in there tho as i recall

i'd kill that in 10 days, 100%

i'd like to think if anything survives my tank, it is plenty hardy.  the level of neglect here is more than most acro-keepers will tolerate, lol.

neglect is literally the only word that could describe how alk got all the way down to less than 6....😅

The tank is made for the survivor of the fittest....

Here the green stag in the old tank, didn’t have a lot of branch growth like now.
ooh also very excited to get the LRF/fire dragon back into the tank again. My old one died during the startup of this tank.
