This tank is coming along nicely. Are you planning on keeping the frags or are you hope to grow out and sell them?

Thanks!  I must say once the transferring started, it got going in a hurry, lol.  Plus the dining room tile floor is getting demo'd/removed next week, so everything has to be out of there by the end of this wknd (including the IM tank) 😅

I have a local buyer that wants most of the acro frags on the rack, the rest will go to LFS.  any corals that I'm keeping will have a place somewhere on the rock, or future mini islands.

I may have missed this Mitten, but where are the doors?

Door for the stand?  The stand has a single door design, this being only a 2- footer after all. I haven’t attached it on yet in previous pics, still doing manual top off 3 times a day, ATO is on the IM still 😅

Lol, looks like a missed allot in just a few weeks absence, got everything pretty much transferred already. That scoly's recovery is so impressive, it really is shaping up to be something incredible isn't it?
Love the scape too, but I don't recall what plans you had in the works for fish, plenty of swimming room so far though haha.
Hope everything's been progressing smoothly with the new house!

Tank is lookin' really good.  What's the placement plan for the goni?  Can't wait to see that scape grow out - going to be epic.

Thnx!  Which Goni? I have two 😂.  I think if they’re gonna get up on the rock, they’ll be the last ones as I think I wanna add some more acros still

Oh ssnnnnaaapp,lookin' good fellar.

Thanks!

and here’s some more random pics of things around the tank floor. acros are still rather unhappy since before moving out of the old tank, they’re slowly looking better in the new one, but hardly worth any pics

see that tiny scoly’s before pics here, make sure to swipe to see it’s very dire state when I broke the skeleton.  Btw, I now have two of this guy

A few new euphyllia

Looking absolutely fantastic - I love the scape. I'm going to have to have you help me again with mine! I really like how much stuff you pared back from the old tank - it looks like a really focused tank.

First mass casualty of this tank, happened mostly this past weekend. Some are dead for a little bit longer like the tort frag.   🤷🏻‍♂️

Monti didn’t survive its transit/delivery from @Thrassian Atoll, he took great care in his shipping. It’s unfortunate that the usps took two days to deliver an overnight service.

Real sorry to hear this. On the bright side, you've been growing acros faster than most people grow xenia for years so it won't take forever to recover!

Sorry to hear that @mitten_reef! Hopefully it stops at those.  I need to use FedEx through one of those other websites from now on.  I don’t trust USPS anymore.

I think the tank will be ok. Those acros were not all that happy to begin with when I transferred the tank.  One of them was just beginning to color up a bit then just started stn/rtn late last week.
The three sticks from you are doing good btw!

Thanks. I’m sure things will turn around shortly. All other pieces are not showing any signs that I should be worried. But then again, never know in this hobby.  Especially when you go solely by “the looks” of things more often than not like me. 😂

Awesome to hear!  Glad those are pulling through.  Corals are weird sometimes.  I lost all of those birdsnest colonies a while back and 95% of the other corals were fine.  Who knows.
