New AIO Aquatop Recife Eco 24G, suggestions on filtration

Hi everyone, first post here.

As with most of these threads, I've been out of the "fish game" for years now. 🙂 Ok, now that is out of the way....

Daughter wanted "lil fishies" so essentially I'm back. 🙂

Picked up an Aquatop Recife Eco 24G with the standard 3 chamber filtration system. Sponge pre-filter, nano skimmer, 3 media buckets containing bio's, carbons and a weird cylindrical, hollow media thar is new to me. Last chamber is pump and heater.

The idea is to keep it fish only for now but I'm sure that will not last long.

Pumps and skimmer aside, what modifications would you fine folks recommend for the filtration side?

I know corals will eventually end up in the tank (getting a kessil A360we from a friend today) so I want to start it out right.

Tank is new, 2 days running with 2 clowns and a goby, started the chemi bacteria treatment day prior. (Microbacter7)

Thanks in advance. 👍

Hello and welcome

Keeping things simple is often less work and less problems.

Filter floss and carbon are the go to for most with filtration in a nano.
