Just got my new rodi system installed. I upgraded from the buddie to the marine depot “KleanWater.” Seems to be running good at 80psi 0 TDS. Incoming was only 33 TDS (NYC Tap). I’m going to try and fill the tank Sunday!

Little update. Just ordered all the PVC from BRS for the manifold. There will be three outlets. I would like to run an algae reactor, BRS 2 stage reactors, and a UV sterilizer. Also ordered my heater and Hanna salinity meter

Finally filled up the Waterbox. Everything went smooth. It’s dialed in and running pretty silent. I added a union to the flex hosing for easy maintenance. Added a little piece of wood to hide all the cables, I think it looks pretty good. I have all the pieces to the manifold, I may run it off of my return, but I planned on using a secondary pump for the manifold. I’m also thinking about lighting. I already have an ai prime, would love to add the aquatic life t5 hybrid to the mix.

So, I finally got around to building the manifold for the two reactors, and uv sterilizer. Leak tested and mounted it tonight.I decided to go with a second pump(Jebao dcw 2000) dedicated to the manifold.  I have another reactor and UV sterilizer on the way! I also ordered a retrofit t5 kit off of MarineDepot. I’m building a hanging a hood with an ai prime in the center. Let me know what you guys think1E38A052-95D9-404C-BBE6-A9EFD3B13C9D.thumb.jpeg.1d173edb04292a638a538df2e437ee13.jpeg1E38A052-95D9-404C-BBE6-A9EFD3B13C9D.thumb.jpeg.1d173edb04292a638a538df2e437ee13.jpeg

Can't speak much towards your sump setup (although it does look well organized), but I think the T5/LED hybrid fixture is a good idea; hopefully it should provide a more distributed light source.

Thank you. I really wanted to incorporate t5’s and keep cost down.

I really love the rocks and the modern looking setup. Did you get the rocks local or online?

Hi and thank you. I got the  tank, sump, stand, pump, and rocks(Marco rocks) from @Waterbox Aquariums. I really love these rocks. So easy to scape with!

Finally got around to building the hanging hood for the t5’s and ai prime. I think it turned out pretty good. I’m going to hang it from the ceiling.

You should move the fish art above the light—can't see it fully from the front anymore 😄

Haha. I know, my wife said the same thing!

Things are starting to happen! Added a gyre 2k, I broke down my 14 gallon and moved “Leo” our 3 year old clownfish over. Seems to be doing well. The tanks been cycling for about 2 1/2 months. I plan on adding corals in about 3 months or so. Thinking all sps. I also added the ai prime to the light fixture I made. I saw this really awesome hawk fish at the LFS, so I grabbed him today as well!
