Temperate tanks VS Tropical Reef tanks🐟🐙

I’m not considering starting one of these, I already have my hands full with my tank now. I just wanted to start a discussion on these two types of aquariums. I think that temperate tanks are criminally sat upon in our hobby. They can be just as beautiful and sometimes even more interesting and beautiful than a tropical reef tank. I do have to account for tho that livestock for a temperate tank is much harder to come by than a tropical reef tank. I’ve also heard mixed arguments for each type of aquarium. Some say that temperate is easier and some say tropical reef is easier. So let’s get some of these arguments sorted out

It's easier to heat a tank than to cool a tank, so tropical is easier on that basis.

 

After that I'd say that "ease" is relative to the specific organisms you intend to keep.
