So any of you guys ever seen a glass container/ tank that uses epoxy instead of silicone to hold the panels of glass together

Not for fish I haven't...for decorative things I could see it being used like a planter or vase. Maybe it wasn't originally intended for fish?

Epoxy should be inert, so that's fine. But I question why you don't see more tanks with epoxy if it actually works. I'd be suspicious it might not be strong enough, long-term.

I have no idea what it was intended for but I am guessing your right tho and it may be a vase.

Right now it feels stronger than a normal silicone joint but yea it may weaken over time. Just curious if anyone else seen something similar in the reefing world
