Isopod ID

Found this little guy on the glass.  He's about 3 or 4 mm long, and pretty fast. 

 

He's clearly an isopod, but not a kind I'm familiar with.  Anyone recognize it?  He's pretty neat and I hate to kill him without knowing at least a little bit about him.

Indeed and I'm glad!!  😃 Folks get sooooo wound up over every unidentified critter.  He's lucky you didn't smash first and ask questions later.

 

And on that note, thank you for posting in the first place!  This is a good example thread. 🙂

They really do!  Learning about new critters is half the fun of a tank to me.  The one thing I wish I could teach new reefers to stop doing is labeling every hitchhiker "good" or "bad".  Life is so much more interesting than that.
