So the pump that was shipped out with my Cube10 didn't fit (zzz). And was looking at picking up either an eheim compactON 300 or 600.

Specs of the pumps are as follows:

Eheim compactON 300
Pump power per hour at 50 Hz of    170L (45g)
Pump power per hour at 50 Hz to    300L (79g)

Eheim compactON 600

Pump power per hour at 50 Hz of    250L (66g)
Pump power per hour at 50 Hz to    600L (158g)

The main differences I can think of is the bigger pump would draw more water through chemical/biological filtration, whereas the smaller would allow more random flow from a wave maker.

So is more water through the chemical/mechanical filtration worth having slightly less random flow within the tank? Or is it just preference.

Hi there!
