AquaVaj
I actually had this set up for about 2 months now but never started a tank journal for. Mistakes were made that caused some mild bryopsis and an outbreak of dinos. Since I just started I decided to get rid of the rocks and do a semi-restart. Using new rocks and putty I did my aquascape and cooked them for 2 weeks in a bucket with a pump and heater. It was just a matter of removing the old rocks, vacuuming the sand and putting in the new rocks. I love the new scape and really dig the "trench" effect between the two rock structures. Upcoming plans: I have another Sicce 1000 coming in this week. I plan to have them in the back top corners and oscillate them for a more random flow. I think this will be sufficient so no plans to upgrade the stock pump. Most corals are where I want them but need to glue some of them down to prevent being knocked over by snails. I'll probably try to squeeze in some more zoas and rics. Maybe a nice frog spawn or hammer too. Quote Link to comment
