Tired Posted April 20, 2020 Share Posted April 20, 2020 That looks more like the top of an oyster. Likely what you're seeing as a snail is the mantle of the oyster when it opens to feed. Harmless filter-feeder, though it's possible it'll eventually get too large and impede the snail, depending on species. Limpets are roughly shaped like a very wide, flat cone, and crawl around on the rock. Quote Link to comment
