Painting wall behind tank in the future?

I'm moving my tank to a new (to me) home next week.  I don't have time to paint the walls before the move, but painting will be required by my wife in the near future.  My Redsea 170 will be setup on hardwood.  Any thoughts on what I can do that will make pulling it away from the wall in the future easier?

Clown79 is right you will have to remove about half of the water. What I did in the past is I would set the tank up with either furniture moving sliders or a plastic mat. Then when it came time to move I would empty half of the water and then slide the tank away from the wall. This will work if you dont need to move the tank very far and if you have a second person to help.

I’d paint just that wall, maybe a darker contrasting color, Blue? and paint the other walls later on with a lighter color. Also I would really consider Varnishing  the floor where the tank is going to be with a Marine Grade Varnish. I’ve used Sikkens on Cabinets with excellent results as far as water resistance and durability.
