Aop_Reef
While I was cleaning the glass today on my fluval 13.5 I noticed a bunch of white things crawling on the back wall -is that a good thing or bad thing? What are they? Tank has been running for 2.5 months there was also a bunch of brown algea on the glass and back wall I don’t know if maybe that was the cause*(the big white spot is dried up saltwater in the pic)* 1 Quote Link to comment
Christopher Marks
Welcome to the community @Aop_Reef! Those are young amphipods, small beneficial crustaceans that are common in health reefs. They will continue to grow. It's a benchmark in the progress of your growing ecosystem inside your nano reef. They're part of the food chain. 1 Quote Link to comment
Tired
Baby amphipods, or copepods, or both. Beneficial. 1 Quote Link to comment
