Abzdot
HI, I am new so I don't know much. I also have a video also i can see a weird circle thing on a polyp https://imgur.com/a/nzypVpq Quote Link to comment
Christopher Marks
Looks a lot like a copepod to me, common helpful reef organisms. Would you describe it as a super tiny ‘shrimp-like’ crustacean? 1 Quote Link to comment

I thought that they were shrimps but there are hundreds of species and it is difficult to tell if they’re good or bad for a beginner, also in the video there is this little circle thing on one of the polyps, is that good or bad? Thank you! Quote Link to comment
Tired
Those are not copepods, those are amphipods. Copepods are much, much tinier. Amphipods are generally harmless, but can irritate corals if there are too many of them, and will attack dying corals. Fish will eat them. I don't see a circle. Quote Link to comment
