After moving from CA to NJ due to mom being sick, I had to take down my Red Sea Reefer 170.

I decided to keep nano tanks instead so it will be easy to move around if we had to. Started my nano build in November 2019 with both freshwater and reef.

I originally planned to keep Zoas and LPS in the tank but wanted to dry SPS as I have seen that it can work on nanos. so here I am.

suchhh a beautiful set up with the leafy tank and salty tank together, i have something similar, a mini freshwater and a larger but still pico reef tank. loving some of your ideas and will definitely be stealing them for my tanks 😉

I just realize I bought almost the same IKEA fixture, I was wondering how did you attach the light inside?
I'm waiting for the hanging kit

Hey! That’s good. I actually have to pull the guts out of that light and cut that ceramic in half... I’m sorry it’s so hard to demonstrate when I’m not with the fixtures, I also discovered it by accidentally breaking that ceramic in half that it works better that way. I was gonna cut the Ai prime cable so it can go thru the middle of that ceramic then to solder them together.
