What should I do with my tank?

My tank (fluval evo 13.5) has been overrun by cyanobacteria for a few months and 2 weeks ago my cleaner shrimp, Sebastian, passed away. Since there is nothing in the tank what should I do to get rid of the cyanobacteria?

Cyano is the first algae I struggled with years ago. It's kind of beautiful and really cool how it compacts the sand underneath it, but it's super annoying. The best thing to do is remove as much of it as you can by hand and then do a blackout for a couple of days, especially since there's nothing in there. Turkey baster/waft rocks as much as you can, and make sure you have good flow overall. Continue to do water changes and stabilize parameters.

This is also a good, short video:
