Ratvan Posted April 13, 2020 Author Share Posted April 13, 2020 So I added my Setosa, the only coral left. Doesn't look too good all in all but it's still trucking along. I think that I bleached out the others, apart from the Acro that was the Hermit. I'm still so pissed off at it for that. On the other hand I didn't secure the frag and it's done a good job for keeping down the algae. In other news, diatoms on the rocks. Have started to baste them off the rocks today. Ratvan Posted April 14, 2020 Author Share Posted April 14, 2020 So my coral order arrives tomorrow, booked in for midday so I get a nice lie in. In preparation for this I made up 5Gallons. I did a small water change and removed some of the sandbed, still want to remove a little more to get some space below the rock shelf. Got a lot of diatoms in the tank at the minute so am running a reduced lighting schedule, I plan on slowly working this up to my preferred settings slowly once the LPS are in place. Hantu and Puaka are still going strong in the Cube, it has moved into the Kitchen for the time being. I am considering using the cube as a tap water experiment. I really do enjoy having these two watch me while I cook. Maybe a Tailspot blenny again 3 Quote Link to comment

We'll one but I could stretch to a gold torch for a little more than he wanted lol. The colours on the Hammers don't seem to match to the shops photos though in my opinion. I do like the more delicate looking one. Can you cut them down at all? All look rather tall on the Skeleton if you get what I mean Sorry about the clowns dude, they would have looked great in the tank with those colours. Any plans for Livestock for this one? Yeah the Elegance is larger than I thought for sure, was expecting something maybe half its size. I don't think it has fully expanded just yet. I don't have the high powered lights that the shop does over the Photographs. I can't remember if they use Radions or AI 26's but a lot more PAR and power than my little Asta. They've been in the tank for not even 24 hours yet so expecting to see them settle more, they're already more expanded. I know what you mean but I don't have any tools to cut with at the moment. Wouldn't know where to cut as well, not 100% sure of how far down the Skeleton the coral goes. Well Mrs R and mother in law want Clowns again, however I would feel better having the clowns in something larger and leave them alone. My two went through a lot of tanks in a short while. Thinking about a TSB again, maybe a group of smaller Pico Gobies. Not sure really need to read up on what I can keep with these corals 2 Quote Link to comment
