Reefing with Friends Ep1: Jeff Visits Cody's 300-Gallon Reef to Talk Tank
Today we thought we'd do something a little bit different than our regular event coverage and video tutorials.

We went on-location in Orange County, CA—home to beautiful beaches, Disneyland, and of course, Reef-A-Palooza—to visit the home of Southern California Marine Aquarium Society Member, Cody Bean.

We've been enjoying Cody's updates on Instagram and seeing his 300-gallon tank build come together. So, when he invited us over for a tank tour, we jumped at the chance to see it in person!

Cody's modest about his handiwork, but we think you will agree he's done a lot of cool customizations to make this reef aquarium one-of-a-kind. Cody has two little ones at home, so he uses a lot of high-tech tank automation equipment, which allows him to spend more time with his family.

Although this tank is in its infancy, we thought it would be fun to capture its humble beginnings so we can come back in a later episode to see the aquarium all filled in.

If you enjoyed this episode and would like to see more like it, leave us a comment and let us know!
