IM Nuvo Fusion Pro 20 on a 24x12 stand?

Hi all,

 

I have an unused 24x12 (20 tall/15 long) stand, and I'm wondering if I could put an IM Nuvo Fusion Pro 20 on it. IM lists the dimensions as follows:

 

Outside DIMS: Length 23.62” Width: 15” Height: 13”

Display DIMS: Length 23.16” Width: 11.38” Height: 13”

 

So basically the tank itself would sit on the stand, but the sump box would stick out on the back. Nuvo Fusion owners, what do you think - could I get away with that? How is the box attached to the actual tank?

It’s attached. It’s all one unit. You’ll need a stand that fits all of the outside dimensions of the tank.

As mentioned, it's all one tank. The back chambers are the sump. It's just 1 tank with silicone back wall and glass baffle walls.

 

If it doesn't fit that stand, you will either need to modify it properly to support the complete tank dimensions and weight. Or another stand.

 

 

Truthfully, I wouldn't even take the chance, thats a lot of water pressure on seams not properly supported- a nightmare waiting to happen
