I add one of the small cups that came with the B-Ionic mag,caland alk every Wednesday morning then do 4G water change every Sunday. The water change is about 10min;s or so . It could be that I'm just really lazy - but I think the level of maintenance is marginal from when I owned nano tanks. my contest tank is a ultra low maintenance I haven't touched it since its been wet (3/7/2020) as for my 160G(mixed reef) everything is automated, with the exception of WC which I do a 25% monthly WC. empty the protein skimmer twice a week and I change out the filter sock every other day. I dose aminos twice a week usually the day after maintaining the protein skimmer which I turn off for 24hrs so the nutrients don't get automatically pulled out. Quote Link to comment
