Alk

If things are happy don't mess with things.

It could be the salt you use that mixes high.

It could be an imbalance in alk/ca, which could be from low mag.

What does your salt mix at for alk, ca, mag

What levels are ca and mag at in the tank?

Cal 400 , mag 1400 , I started a refugium to keep ph stable too

Ph fluctuates. Its effected by photosynthesis, gas exchange.

Alk and ph work together.

What salt are you using and have you tested newly mixed sw?

Red sea coral pro, has very high alk.

If you don't like high alk, then you will need to use a salt that doesn't mix to that.

You can check online what that particular batch mixes at and then test newly mixed salt

Its generally advised to do that because it's your target number.

Could be testing weirdness.  Try testing something else as a sanity test on the kit itself....like a sample of tap water.  See what you get.
