a_pmech84
Just seen this tonight and got a pic. I've noticed this particular colony being closed for a couple of days and thought maybe they were gonna get some new heads. Dont think that's the case now. Can someone please tell me what the tentacles are. Haven't seen the main body of it because it's under the colony, between the colony and the rock its glued too. The tentacles are a clearish green with black spots and there's alot of them. Quote Link to comment
sublunary
Looks like a spaghetti worm. They are detritivores that won't directly hurt your polyps, but might be annoying them. Quote Link to comment
a_pmech84
Are spaghetti worms normally multi tentacled like that. If it was something I chose to try and eliminate would a coral dip work on them? Quote Link to comment
a_pmech84
On second thought I have continued looking these things up. It's either a hair worm or spaghetti worm. Both are listed as beneficial so I'm gonna let it ride until the condition on the colony dictates otherwise. Thanks for the insight. Quote Link to comment
Reefkid88
Be aware though,if the colony becomes too big, they will cause the colony they are attached too very upset and stay closed. 1 Quote Link to comment
