using salt from busted salt bucket

just got a delivery of salt, bucket was busted some salt spilled and clumpy. replacement salt on the way, but it will take a week and i need to use it.

is it ok to use? its 80 gallons worth, would be a shame to throw it away. thanks

I’d mix up a batch and see how it looks. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Should be fine.

 

Supposedly you can even get residues to dissolve by adding some seltzer water.   Just make sure to AERATE WELL after the residues are dissolved, before using the water.
