DSA65PRO Posted March 11, 2020 Share Posted March 11, 2020 I loaned a skimmer out to someone because they cracked their brand new skimmer cup, washing it in hot tap water. It caused uneven expansion in the Glued up Acrylics and cracked it . I told them to bring the cup by and I’d try and weld over the crack with Weld•on 4. 2 Quote Link to comment

DSA65PRO Posted March 18, 2020 Author Share Posted March 18, 2020 His Skimmer was Custom made in the USA. He is going with a bigger cup. I Repaired his Skimmer Cup, and have mine back. Another reason I think it cracked, is the Acrylic is thick, therefore no give. Quote Link to comment
