No ATO. In case you meant AIO yes a Fluval EVO V 5 gallon.

I tried baby oil as suggested but I didn't do a good job. So cleaned it all off and taped it.

Well 3rd hatch is almost none existent. Going to clean up the hatchery ang start a new batch with tank water. SG 1.025

Oh wow, no ATO? I’m getting tons of evaporation with mine... though it does seem related to the powerhead speed... I increased the flow from the powerhead a few days ago and now it’s evaporating a ton!  Glad to have the ATO on mine, but it’s a tight fit.

I love my little micro on my 20L just haven't made the commitment of funds for the pico. I am here every day so I just test and top off for now. Next money for the pico will hopefully be for some fish and corals every thing so far came from my reef tank except the RFA I got that with the clean up crew from reefcleaners.com.

Second batch. First hatch. I can not tell for sure but I do not see any difference compared to the first batch first hatch. Maybe a a little more this time. Leading me to think that the lower SG as recommend may not make a difference. Of course technically the eggs are way past the use in 90 days for best results.

Second batch second hatch. Feeding the 20 then cleaning up the hatchery and putting away for a week.

Since I put in the mj606 pump resulting in more flow the Duncan has not been open as fully. This morning I put it where the Xenia was under the  pump return should be the lowest flow area in the tank. Placed the Xenia where the Duncan was which should be ok but the additional flow will probably make the pulsing much less. I also took a couple orange polyps and put them on a vertical shell frag making some room on the sand bed compared to the orange polyp rock. Pictures tonight or tomorrow. I wish I wish I had a fish.

No noticeable improvement in the Duncan. Guess I need to give it a few days. The different cloves and the Xenia are ok I guess. Just not feeling it today. I am breaking out tomorrow going to see the grandkids! Then we are going to FaceTime with other family members.

With my Duncan it never really opened up fully until it was in gentle but turbid flow. Had to place it in the corner of my tank where the powerhead hit the glass and was forced into a "downdraft" towards the base of the tank. Mine was a stubby tentacle one though so possibly different requirements

 

I like that mushroom going for a walk as well 😄

My duncan doesn't  like a lot of direct  flow.  It likes to sway.  I have a long tentacle one.

Yesterday was not a great day. Getting ready to do a WC I was cleaning the glass and a little scrub on diver Dan. I broke his little nub! Not that nub get your mind out of the gutter! The nub that the air line attaches to. I think I can fix it. But there is an empty space in my tank right now.

Poor Dan. Losing his nub is probably the worst thing that's ever happened to him.

Along with many others “Diver Dan” has returned to work this morning. He found two tiny polyps of zoa’s and placed them in a tiny cup for safe keeping. His connection is iffy but hopefully it holds.
