debbeach13
Unfortunately I didn't decide (have money) until 2 days ago. Today I ordered a tank and amazon was out of stock. Probably will not have it for a week. So I will start a journal and try to keeping it going for a year. I guess along with a couple others I will be a sort of unofficial not really contestant! 2 Quote Link to comment

Chadicus Meridius
Should I get an ato first or a skimmer? im debating. i will be manually topping it off for a while 1 Quote Link to comment
debbeach13
I would probably do ATO first. I never had one until a couple years ago. I love that every time I test the SG it is 1.025. Not that I do not understand the joy in emptying a filthy cup. But the tank is brand new so unless you think the rock is dirty there isn't much organics to pull out. 2 Quote Link to comment

debbeach13
I have a AutoAqua smart ATO micro. Just wanted to let you know I know at least one person did not like the blue LED sensor. They thought it was too bright. It is bright but my tank is in the living room so I think of it as a night light. It might bother you if your tank is in the bedroom. 2 Quote Link to comment

I don’t plan on having it in my bedroom maybe as a last resort. 2 Quote Link to comment
Chadicus Meridius
I guess we play the waiting game now for everything to show up. water and rock should be in by this weekend. stand should be decided by Friday. 1 Quote Link to comment
Chadicus Meridius
I have the opportunity to get rock and sand today. I’m debating if I should or should not because I won’t be able to get water in until next week because my salt is arriving next week. It would be cool to mess around with aquascaping. debbeach13
What do you think about the rock? Is that the view you will be seeing the tank from? When is the salt due to arrive? Oh did you find a heater? Quote Link to comment
