Here’s pictures of everything new I just got. This chalice and this plate are gorgeous! I can’t believe I got this chalice frag for literally 8 bucks. It seems like it should be a more high end coral?

It's weird you got everything so cheap. If they were electronics, I'd think they might be stolen, or knockoffs. Not really such a thing as knockoff corals, beyond claiming something is a color it isn't, and stolen corals seems pretty unlikely.

Yea seriously, its these eBay auctions, I was just really lucky and won everything for really cheap. I’m honestly considering just buying from these sellers on eBay instead of actual big suppliers.

Also anyone know what type of chalice this is? It looks like a high end chalice, but idk bc I got it for 8 bucks. The plate wasn’t really cheap, but ig for a long tentacle plate, it was probably cheap. I got it for 60. The rather large birdsnest colony was 10 bucks

New order of frags just came in today!!!!!! Got a bunch of mud to high end palys and zoas and a really nice blasto, even tho he’s a bit small and tiny, and two nice mushrooms. I’m trying to increase my zoa and paly collection, bc I’m gonna try to start growing them out and selling frags of them. I’m unemployed while in college and thinking of a good way I could possibly make a little money. Here’s the corals!!

A really bright VDM paly, like I’ve seen VDMs before, but nothing this bright with a yellow mouth like that

Strawberry Cheesecake mushroom. It’s not a regular red mushy, you probably can’t tell with the blue light on, but it has white dots splattered over it

Here’s the blasto. It was labeled as Frogger Blasto, but I’ve never heard of that, so I really have no idea what type it is. If anyone could help with an ID, that would be appreciated. It has these orange stripes over the red and dark red bumps

Me too, I was expecting the fanta mushy to just be a regular old red rhodactis or something like off of aqua sd, but it kept it colors. Its really bright

Everyone seems to be loving this fanta mushy, might have to start sellin off the baby mushys. Its pretty decent size right now too, which is quite nice.

I turned on the tanks lights this morning and was checking the tank and I everything was looking abnormally really good. Like this plate looks crazy good. It’s colors are really popping and it’s so puffy it reminds me of a donut.

Frogspawn always looks like this. It’s looked like this practically ever since I bought him. He’s growing tho and he takes food readily, and the birdsnest colony got damaged in shipping and lost a lot of flesh, but I think it’s stopped and it’s coming back.

But then, I got to my chalice and my scoly and somehow overnight, they changed completely. I don’t understand what’s going on. The chalices flesh is receding and it’s mouth is gaping open and it has sand in it’s mouth. The scoly is also really receded, what’s going on??? I checked params and they are all normal, I’ve been religious with keeping my params as stable as possible. Salinity is at 1.025. The only thing I can think of was that the clown was bothering both of those corals last night and the night before by throwing sand all over them. But I wouldn’t think that would cause this? Another thing I could think of is that I just added those new corals to my tank yesterday. Could that have something to do with it?

Also, the blue fantasias have finally decided to open up. Blue rhino was slowly opening up this morning, then it closed up again.

This is what I have now. Chernobyl bounce, hulk bounce, and a mushroom that looks like a red raunchy bounce mushroom, except it’s purple with a bubbly skirt and good sized bubbles in the center.
