Hi folks! The floating reef is maturing nicely with Coraline encrusting quickly and coral growth really taking off!

Love this room! Could happily spend many hours in there.

The floating reef looks like its maturing really well. Whats happening in the 350?

Thank you! The 350 is just sitting idle for the moment while we decide on a hardscape. We'll start another thread for it soon!

Such a cool perspective looking through both tanks!

The disco effect from the light doesn't bother you?
I see the photos and it seem pretty intense on the sand!

Do you plan to put something verticale in the middle back? will be a great from aquascaping point of view

I was going to mention the same thing then I realized I would sound like I was jealous of this tank and it’s livestock budget(which I am)

The iPhone camera seems to magnify the disco effect - In real life it's quite pleasant to look at 🙂

Yes! I've been thinking the same thing about the scape... the xenia adds some height (it wasn't fully extended in the last pic) and I was considering putting the green sinularia up in the middle too. Thoughts on this plan, or any other proposals?

And now you have me rethinking my scape.....

Damn this is cooooool. This maybe a new project for me.

My followers are probably going to tell me to keep my hands out of the tank but uuuurg this proves there's so much more potential with our nano scrapes. Very well done.

I think the floating scape is nice now. The corals are going to fill in and grow taller even more.

Maybe do this.

Any concerns that as the corals grow that the weight will cause the glued on rock holder to let go ?

Shouldn't, everything is anyway HALF the actual weight in water...

Update time! The reef is doing well for the most part - sadly the yellow Goni faded away, but other gonis are doing well (go figure?)
