Tigahboy
Happy to report the sexies are out and about most of the time. I think it helps that I don't have any real fish in here (masked gobies barely count as fish). 6 Quote Link to comment
debbeach13
That's awesome. 1 Quote Link to comment

Tigahboy
Latest FTS. Sexies still out and about. Snuck in some Dragon's Breath. My centerpiece bubble algae. 3 1 Quote Link to comment
mipster
Is there coraline algae growing... on the bubble algae? Is that even possible? But I swear that's what it looks like. 1 Quote Link to comment

Tigahboy
Just realized we only have a couple months left in this contest. Homestretch, y'all! Also, probably my best macro shot of my gobies. 5 Quote Link to comment
Tigahboy
Not going to lie, this tank has been a little neglected due to holidays, setting up a new tank (took down the little 1g cube next to this tank), work, and just life. I've also been using this tank as a holding tank of sorts for a few pieces of macroalgae that will ultimately end up in my new tank. Anyway, I call this month's FTS the Hot Mess: Happy Holidays and Happy New Year! 5 1 Quote Link to comment
Tigahboy
In case you like Gracilaria hayi, I got oodles up in here. Let’s get a little closer. Oooh. Ahhh. 3 1 Quote Link to comment
A.m.P
Hayi seems so much more manageable than the impossible tumbleweed that is dragon's breath... 1 Quote Link to comment

Hayi is as easy as it gets (while dragon's breath can be pretty tricky to keep happy in the long run). I stuck a small clump in my kid's sea monkey tank with no flow and no light and somehow it is still alive after 7 months. 1 Quote Link to comment
A.m.P
Sounds like a dream lol, I might have to track some down, dragons breath has had its' ups and downs in my system, but even after selling off half of it the stuff's still pretty much wall-to-wall. But man, the fact that it never really attaches to anything drives you insane, I'm constantly pulling it out from under rocks, out of powerheads, the weir... Coupled with the tendency to constantly threaten to pale out and just rot away... It's redundant to mention again at this point, but that hayi just has such an appealing shape to it and looks absolutely spotless in your system. 1 Quote Link to comment
Tigahboy
Important update, y'all! I've added a THIRD air plant (yes, 3 in total now) to the top! What a dramatic change! This will also be my official January FTS. 3 1 Quote Link to comment

Tigahboy
A couple macro macro shots. Hypnea pannosa. Coloring up nicely in here. Laurencia iridescens. The blue tint on this red macro is pretty crazy. 5 3 Quote Link to comment
