Chaeto is recovering from a period of poor tank care, and this algae does appear to be suffering now as a result. Looking for additional ideas to control it. What algae is it? Quote Link to comment
mcarroll Posted March 8, 2020 Share Posted March 8, 2020 Looks like hair algae. Can you tell us about the system? How old? Test results for everything? Livestock and cleanup crew present? (pls be specific) Lighting? How is the tank cleaned and filtered? Without knowing the answers, I'd say carefully pluck out the algae in the picture and add 3-4 new medium sized snails, or equivalent "snail power" of small or big snails. Quote Link to comment
