waldoz Posted July 10, 2020 Author Share Posted July 10, 2020 Son's B-day today, he wanted some critters for his birthday. I was at work when they went to CFC. The skunk shrimp is pretty entertaining. 🙂 And he got a lawn mower blenny, which he calls Benny. Not my first choice of fish but I guess we will see how he does. Not much else going on. Our biggest problem is algae on the tank glass. You clean it off and two days later it's back. Everything else is doing good. Ammonia is good along with nitrates. We don't have any other problems fingers crossed. I think big thing has helped us so far is taking everything slow and only adding what we need to the tank. Salinity has been 1.024 to 1.025. He is doing good job of keeping it in check. 👍 2 Quote Link to comment

When the got him he just came in that day and not even out of the shipment bag. Anyone have any idea why he would just kick the bucket? Emailed CFC see what they say. 1 Quote Link to comment

After I just about glued my fingers together got them on the plugs that he threw in also. My second oldest daughter schooled me on filter settings on my phone. Now it's pretty close to what they look like 😁. They are opening up pretty good 👍 This one not so much 😂 I had to get one of the clown. Yeah my son did not get any Krazy glue on him go figure. lol Glued this little guy to a small removable rock. I actually forgot the names of these three small frags. 😬 4 Quote Link to comment

She is pretty big and has a sack of eggs. 😁 They are great guys help and advice 👍. Worth the drive for sure. If we do another tank setup going to make a slot for a plate or the balls. On a side note I think the two corals are Nuclear green Paly and the purple one is a Spider flake. 1 Quote Link to comment

I'm sure it's growing and Wonder how long this guy is going to be able to stay in the tank. Clown looks terrible. LoL but still seems healthy and swimming around playing with the lawn mower blenny.
