spectra
Looks great! glad to help out it was just collecting dust in the garage............ If you stick with scape just add the sand around the rock...........better to have it on the glass so nothing shifts........ 1 Quote Link to comment

LoL that is funny, WE don't have one but we have my hand thickness between the glass and rock. That should be enough I hope and we have not really looked at any. 3 hours ago, spectra said: Looks great! glad to help out it was just collecting dust in the garage............ Its pretty solid and it does not wiggle at all. 3 hours ago, shaneandjohn said: You two have done a great job with this build. Some things do look better inside the house than sitting in a garage doing nothing. 😉 But thanks again! We would still be in a 2 gallon jar still. LOL 38 minutes ago, Matteo said: Looking good! He almost gave up last night but he just kept messing around putting things together. 4 Quote Link to comment

1000rrstunna
Flipper is the best cleaner for the $ hands down nice looking build glad glad to see things like this happening Quote Link to comment
Coastie
Scape looks awesome! I suggest getting a 20+ gallon brute trash can from home Depot to store water in. It makes water changes a lot less annoying. Additionally, get a cheap heater for the bucket too. Salt mixes WAY better with warm water. You'll need a refractometer too. I think mine was $14 on eBay? I took it to my LFS and they ensured it was calibrated. Quote Link to comment

We are on tight budget and could not have gotten this far with out every ones help. 🙂 We have a heater 300W and a BRS Refractometer. Yeah my son did a awesome job all by himself! 1 Quote Link to comment

Broke them up and weighed out at 20lbs. We messed around with it for few hrs and gave up. Funny thing is I came back in to my sons room and he had it all laid out and I did not even help him. 🙂 He is owning this scape! Pretty funny though he was saying dad take a picture quick before we mess it up and can remake it again. 😛 So its in the tank and I told him to sleep on it and see how he feels about it tomorrow. I don't think he is going to change it and If we are lucky it might get wet tomorrow. Still need to learn how to make some saltwater. LOL All for now. Very nice scape 1 Quote Link to comment
waldoz
It will look sweet with some sand for sure. 😁 I don't know how many times we have redone it. That golden triangle thing, tried to figure that out and gave up. It all worked out though. 👍 Quote Link to comment
waldoz
Its WET!! Now we wait. Got our little critter in a bag brewing. 🙂 It was nerve racking trying not to mess it up. LOL The light will be off. 10 1 Quote Link to comment
