Place Holder

Also to share my idea. The current theme/plan is to go bare bottom and have the rock floating. Making it look like an overhang/cliff. Still up in the air for livestock.

Ordered IM Nuvo Fusion 10 pro, bonsi reef magnetic rocks, and an ato. I have like 200lbs of old dry rock to pick thr. Once the tank gets here I'll get a better idea for the aquascape.

Also I have an original mp10 that I may throw in, just need to replace the bearings.

Yesterday was busy but I threw the rock in quick and its started! Will post more pics once I get a chance to aquascape.

The rock got a little chilled so most of the large bristle worms died off.

nice rock! is that from KP or TBS? I have order from both in the past.

Thanks! It was loaded with stuff but got a little cold so unfortunately most the big stuff died off. I got it from gulfliverock.com

So here is the aquascape for now. Eventually I'll try and get the rock off the bottom. Going to let things settle for now.

Day 3 since the rock went in. Lots of die off raised the ammonia a bit but the bacteria seems to be catching up. Thankfully some of the critters made it too!

Two different types of anemones. One looks like a majano..

Also some of the wild coral made it!

Excited to see what else pops up.

So trying some things out with the scape and getting a floating rock/ledge out crop look. Thinking of trying to cover the bottom ledge with non-photosynthetic corals.

I hope that macro stays alive for ya!

I do too! I've got lots of different macro in my main tank but no Halmeda, but I've got a little more of this rock curing off to the side to go in there.

I changed up the scape a bit.

Had a diatom bloom but unfortunately the LFS is out of trochus snails until tomorrow. Ammonia and Nitrite hit 0 a week ago and as a test I threw in a cheap Birdsnest frag. Polyps are out and it seems to be doing fine. If it takes a turn I will move it to my big tank.
