Well a quick update.

I moved! (Again!) lol it’s the final resting place of the full setup. 
 

I also decided to add another AI primeHD

well the macros are doing great. I’m more than likely going to have to redesign the light rack. Or something that will hold the T5, by its lonesome.🤔

I have been thinking of swapping out the primes for 26’s 😂 but I’ll wait at least until November to decide on the swap.

so a quick update from the regular picture show. I haven’t really done much to the tank just the regular routine maintenance. refill of the ATO (5gallons weekly) add 8 grams of kalk+2 from Brightwell Aquatics to my kalk dispenser. I also decided to add a small harem (4) of black clowns.(Pepe, Moo, Oreo, York) The Sole chromis is now named Jeff. 

 

the tank is still lacking nutrients, hence the harem. And I recently had some of my caulerpa basically dissolve. Which I think It was trying to go sexual and release into the water column. I decided to take it out when it started to look weird. But I had a mild bloom this morning with the water looking a little hazy. I didn’t do anything crazy, to me it looked as if it was a bacterial bloom. I swapped the filter floss, and checked after work if the carbon floss needed to be changed. (I did it anyway) 

 

when I got home it looked as if nothing happened. So it make me wonder how often do our tanks, do some weird stuff and keep on going?

I can't tell any thing happened. Yes 4 clowns should bring the nutrients up. They love to eat and you know what that means.

for some reason I feel that it works better (speculative) than using a pelleted carbon. I have used both on my larger systems. But I feel that the pellets do their job but I feel a lot gets wasted and not properly utilized. Hence why I use the carbon filter pad first on my media rack
