I got a notification that my flow has been shipped. Time to plan to how to attach the plumbing to the return pump. The big decision is to go hard or soft plumbing.🤔

Traditional boulonnaise, and most Italian sauces - tomatoes are american-italian more than proper-traditional as the fruit itself was of foreign-import, actually include local peppers like jimmy nardello or bomba's and tend to be at least mildly-spicy.
So, yeah lol, mild salsa w/ a bit more tom paste and some italian seasoning would probably work out alright with a little parm XD

I'm sure the is a benefit to having one over the other, I have always used a combo of both. easier to maintenance the soft plumbing because nothing is glued.

Well  had a little free time last week, so I made a media rack. Here’s what I’m working with. filter floss on top, chemipure in the middle and bottom some brightwell biocube? Idk what do y’all think?

thanks! this one is actually version 2. The first one was a little too big and the slots didn't really flow right with water going through it.

the reasoning behind the slots is all about flow, and hydrodynamics.

So I have found the lighting that im going to use for this build, im on the fence of using a T5 hybrid.  I have a standalone 24" T5 and a couple of AIprimeHDS.  Even though the tank is going to get an average of 4 hours of direct sunlight daily, from a southern facing window. the real dilemma is that the standard mounts for the AIprimes will not work with custom lagoon. unfortunately I will have to build a custom light mount that will incorporate the T5 and the primes. 

My return nozzles should be coming in any day now, which hopefully by this weekend ill have water in this tank.

So I have been a little busy today and I managed to make a light rack to go over the tank. I used 3/8 clear acrylic it’s going to hold up the T5 hybrid lights.

Here is a shot of it on top of the tank

i think I’m going to “wrap” the top part with mirror acrylic. I’m in the fence about it still.

 

 

mainly my flow nozzles have arrived.

I haven’t decided yet but the orange pops though. Plus the tank already has a green bottom, Irish flag? 🇮🇪 😆
