Ratvan
Spotted this today, not sure what it is. Doesn't look like the Aiptasia's that I ususally see in my tank Quote Link to comment
jservedio
Maybe a majano? The pictures aren't great, so it's hard to see well, but Google "Majano Anemone" and see if it matches. 1 Quote Link to comment

Yeah it's in a bugger of a spot to get a decent photograph of, and typically on the base rock in the stack 🙄 It doesn't really match any of the photos that I have seen to be honest, I THINK i can discount Aiptasia due to short stubby tents, past that 🤷♂️ Also had a look at Baby BTA's and Sebae's lol Quote Link to comment
EthanPhillyCheesesteak
It kinda looks like a majano, but the tentacles look really stubby 1 Quote Link to comment
RedCrow
That is a ball anemone, Pseudocorynactis species. They’re actually not true anemones, but a type of mushroom. I’ve had them pop up in the past, but they usually hang out in darker areas and they never reached any sort of concerning population levels. 1 Quote Link to comment
EthanPhillyCheesesteak
I’ve seen ball anemones, that doesn’t necessarily look anything like one to me 2 Quote Link to comment

RedCrow
Okay these new photos definitely look like mojano to me. Mojano are definitely not as invasive as aptasia so leaving them be might be just fine 2 Quote Link to comment
Ratvan
Well it's either been eaten or has buggered off elsewhere in the tank 1 Quote Link to comment
