Elsa Posted January 28, 2020 Share Posted January 28, 2020 Hi! i dont want to build one bcoz I have 2 left hands for diy but dont want to drop $300+ either on an algae scrubber for such a small sump free tank. anyone has any experience with something that I can put in the tank or hang on back? I see mostly bad reviews on the Santa Monica ones.....so not sure what else is out there? I have been googling for days now! Thanks!! Quote Link to comment

It doesn’t take any diy skills, just wrapping led “tape” around a hang on back reactor. might wanna check them out, or look up online on how those are made. Quote Link to comment

It's possible that you'll be better off with more standard management practices like increased cleanup crew and more manual cleanings. Is your tank new or old? Quote Link to comment
