My Tailspot is very aggressive so I'd be cautious with the Jawfish as they have similar body types. I would love a McCoskers one day... 1 Quote Link to comment

But I agree with Ratvan..... you have to be careful buying fish with the same body shape. Quote Link to comment
Nats-Reefer
Do you have any recommendations on some perching fish that would work with Jawfish? Quote Link to comment
Clown79
Great buy! You got a really nice set up there. The rockwork is very cool and will really look awesome with various corals. You will love the starki damsel. It's an amazing fish and fast...it gets to food very quickly so be prepared to feed bottom dweller with a pipette to get some to them. I had in my 55g a watchman goby, midas blenny, and jawfish. No one bothered each other but I may have lucked out with well behaved fish. My current midas is very passive, he's intimidated by the bangaii who bothers no one. Lol. My clowns could care less as long as you don't go near their frogspawn. My other clown(different tank) was beyond docile, best buds with bicolor blenny yet became a jerk to the starki who bothers no one. Still doesn't like the starki. Fish have their own personality and it can change with age. Everyones experience is different even with the same fish. 2 Quote Link to comment

Not saying don't do it, just have a backup plan in case it doesn't go well. So you're not scratching around for a quick fix like I am 1 Quote Link to comment
