my_sons_reef Posted December 24, 2019 Share Posted December 24, 2019 Well I bought this to be able to add some cheato to my small sump and it fits perfectly in the chamber with my skimmer. Now everything is great but I'm dealing with the o ring issue of course. After messing with it so much I've got it down to a small drip every few seconds from the side. Would this be acceptable or should I keep messing with it? Quote Link to comment

Would this be acceptable or should I keep messing with it? Leaks are not usually acceptable in a saltwater tank thanks to salt creep. But if it's leaking into the sump at least there isn't likely to be any damage from it. IMO call the company and see what they say. Seems like there should be no issues with a brand new product.
